Jiangle Institute of Semi-Solid Metal Technology, CAM (SSM), located in Jiangle  County, is a joint venture founded in December 2012, which covers an area of 10 acres.

SSM belongs to the “Four in One” project set by Fujian Province, Sanming City Government and China Academy of machinery science and technology, is the only specialized semi-solid R & D institution inChina. 90% of the staffs are Bachelor's or above degree owners, it also owns a talent team, which composed by 6 leaders of various technical fields: five of them are professors， one of them is senior engineers，one of them are "Pacesetter project" national-level candidates, three of them are government special allowances winners.

Depending on the boarder platform, powerful technology and strong equipment advantages of CAM,  relying on the rigorous scientific attitude, the strong technology background, the excellent R&D team and the accurate market positioning, based on the international advanced RSF(Rapid Slurry Forming) patent, SSM targets at the lightweight metal products, has developed auto parts, rail transit accessory parts, textile accessories, electronic communication accessories and military products and so on, with self-owner independent intellectual property rights of semi-solid metal forming technology.

As the only Semi-Solid professional research and development institution inChina, SSM is the “Fujian Semi-solid Forming  Enterprise Engineering  Technology Research  Center”, is a branch of the “State Key Laboratory of Advanced Forming Technology and Equipment”, and is the construction unit for “Jiangle Light Alloy Forming Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Service Platform”.

Our goal is to build SSM into a world-famous lightweight technology Research & Develop base, personnel training base, and technology incubator by taking full advantage of technology, talent, capital and market.
